Easter events!

Easter at our house was nice and relaxed. The rest of the family was out of town, so it was just Sara and I at home for the weekend. Of course the Easter Bunny came and brought Sara a whole basket of things, and then we spent the rest of the day playing with all the goodies she brought.

Here's all the goodies that the bunny happened to bring this year. The basket included 4 books, a Curious George notebook, Nihao Kai-lan bubble whistle, 2 Disney Princess books for the bathtub, 2 bouncy balls shaped like eggs, a chocolate bunny on a stick, a marshmallow sucker with a lamb on it, 2 packs of barrettes, a packet of stickers, M & Ms, and finally a new Leapster since Sara's broke on Thursday.

Here is Sara playing outside with her new bubble whistle. I like it because it keeps bubbles from being to messy, and then she doesn't end up with it in her mouth either from blowing on the typical wand.

It was beautiful outside, about 60 degrees! We had a good time just hanging out and playing. And since we're talking about Easter, here's the picture the girls took at the mall with the Easter Bunny a week ago. It's the first time Sara has seen the Easter Bunny or Santa and not cried while sitting in their lap.

And lastly (but definitely not least), here was my Easter gift!  My baby standing up nice and straight, and taking a few steps all by herself.  She's so big and tall when she stands up!!
